Those of you who are regular visitors to the SB Family Facebook Group and members of the SB Patreon will already know that last week we had some very sad news concerning a wonderful and extremely well loved member of The Skinner Brothers Family, Stephanie Ann Rickells.

For those of you who aren't aware, our beautiful Steph has been diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer. In recent days we've also learnt that the cancer is sadly inoperable. This is not news that anyone wants to receive, let alone at such a young age (under 40) and with a young family to care for.

Steph is a shining light in our community - always full of life, positivity and of course, crazy socks! She's quite the character and never fails to cheer up what might otherwise be dull days. She's loved by many of us, including both Jamey, myself and the whole modmin team of the Facebook group.

Even in the face of the big C, Steph is tackling this as we knew she would - with determination, grace and positivity. As one of our own, we want to do all that we can to help her fight this, and buy her as much time to spend with her family as humanly possible.

Obviously, this is going to be a tough battle for Steph and her loved ones. It's a sad state of affairs, but anyone who has been through any kind of major health crisis will know that it doesn't just take a mental and physical toll, but a major financial one too. Coping with the expenses of daily life is difficult enough, but there will also be additional expenses for things like travelling for treatment. On top of this, there may come a time when her husband needs to temporarily give up work to help Stephanie.

With that in mind, her family have set up a GoFundMe campaign. If you're willing and able to donate, we sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every donation will make a difference, no matter how large or small.

If you're unable to donate, sharing the link to the campaign and/or this post will also help enormously. The more people who see it, the greater the chance of reaching the campaign goal.

Whether you're a member of the SB Family community or just a passer by with a kind heart and some spare cash, thank you so much if you've helped! I know I speak for Jamey too when I say that we're both so proud of the people in this community. There are many angels among us, and if you've donated or shared the link with others, you're one of those too.

We're both sending lots of love, hugs and hope to Steph and her family, along with gratitude for anyone who has helped in any way.

🫶🙏❤️
