Song of the Week: Prawn Soup

I have been bestowed the great honor of choosing the very first 'Song of the Week' for Bad Brains, and as the title suggests, I've decided to go with Prawn Soup!
I'll be honest, I've been sitting here like a carrot for three days, staring at a playlist of 114 of my favorite songs (not an exaggeration), and trying to pick just ONE that deserves to be in this spot more than all the others. No pressure.

I know I'm not alone in saying that I love them all for so many reasons, but that's exactly why it had to be Prawn Soup—For many of us (myself included) this song was our introduction to the mad world of the Skinner Brothers. It was the moment we collectively said “I don't know what this is, but I know I don't want to live without it,” and it's what keeps us pulled over on the side of the road on drop days so we don't miss a premier if we aren't going to make it home on time (Or am I the only one with piss poor time management skills? haha) This song has brought people together from all around the world—different cultures, different backgrounds, different languages... all united by one common interest: The love of exceptional music. It has single-handedly carved out a space where those same people can go from strangers, to friends, to family.
As for the song itself, what else is there to say? You either love it, or you're wrong and I hope you step on a Lego. It's electrifying, it's playful, it's catchy as all hell... From the moment you hear those drum sticks clack together it's already too late—the guitar riff will be ricocheting through your head like a .22 without all the tedious cleanup. We're completely in awe of Zac's musical gravitas on a regular basis anyway, and Prawn Soup is certainly no exception to that.
I do just have one question, though. What is the story behind the name “Prawn Soup”?! I need answers. There was nary a mention of prawns in the whole thing. Look, I checked!
(If these lyrics are wrong by the way, you can thank our friends at genius.com by perhaps suggesting they change their name.)
Come on you know
This ain′t a joke
Its real life
It ain't for show
You run your mouth
I′ll slap ya face
No apology
I'm old school mate
When i come through
Dilly on that 1-2
Say what i feel like and that's rare these days
I ain't plant based
But I'm gonna harvest
Mow down every single UK artists
You know the score
We on the tour
Big big bad
Got me feeling raw
I heard ya song
I heard ya jam
Made me so sick
Change the song quick
Fire fire in a burning drum
Fire fire in a burning drum now
You′re sick but you′re such a prick
But you're my friend so we don′t back down
Konnichiwa
You know I know
I watched them blow
Then watched them blow
Don't worry though
They can't keep a good man down as much as they′d like to
6 in the morning
Men are all brawling
Everyone's clinging to the state that they're all in
The crowd go bupbupbup
Then it's a banger
Props to the DJ for loading up a banger
Fire fire in a burning drum
Fire fire in a burning drum now
You′re sick but you're such a prick
But you're my friend so we don′t back down
Don′t let them say
The streets ain't paved
With lots of gold - I know they are
I′m on a tip
A ragga tip
I'm lost in space
When the bassline drops
Yeah we′re skanking
Dancing and banking
Back in the 03
The city made Mowgli
Chop suey coz the system is down
And i can't feel my face till the fucking beat sound like
Fire fire in a burning drum
Fire fire in a burning drum now
You′re sick but you're such a prick
But you're my friend so we don′t back down
